Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to the technical field of communications, and provide an object distance measurement method and a terminal device. The specific solution comprises: obtaining a first image acquired by an optical lens of a terminal device at a first position; obtaining, in the case that the optical lens is moved from the first position to a second position, a second image acquired by the optical lens at the second position; obtaining a first distance between the first position and the second position; obtaining a first difference; and determining a target object distance according to the first distance, the focal length of the optical lens, and the first difference, wherein the first difference is a difference between a position coordinate of a first pixel in the first image and a position coordinate of a second pixel in the second image in the case that the first image and the second image are on one plane. In the embodiments of the present invention, an object distance is obtained by a single camera, so that the camera costs can be reduced.
