Title:
OBJECT LENS FOR OPTICAL PICK-UP DEVICE, AND OPTICAL PICK-UP DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/043310
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is an object lens for an optical element optical pick-up device, which can be installed with precision into an optical pick-up device, and which prevents the generation of unnecessary light from the optical-disk side when using the optical pick-up device. A reflected light (RL1) which becomes the reference for deciding the position of the lens (PL), and which is reflected from an optical disk-side end surface (20e), can be exclusively detected, by a light-source-side end surface (20b) tilting in relation to a plane perpendicular to the optical axis (OA) of the lens (PL). This allows for the position of the lens (PL) to be detected with precision, and for the lens (PL) to be installed into the optical pick-up device (100) with a high degree of precision and ease. When using the optical pick-up device (100), even if a laser beam (LL1) is incident on the light-source-side end surface (20b), the reflected light (RL3) does not return toward the light sensor (86), thus preventing the occurrence of stray light. The light sensor (86) is thereby able to prevent the increase of noise.
