Abstract:
This object recognition device (3) comprises: a processor (4) for inputting the senser data of a point cloud having been sensed by a senor (external world recognition sensor (1)) to a software pipeline comprising a plurality of stages and executing an object recognition process; and a memory. The processor (4) has a plurality of processing units (5) for executing a process that constitutes the object recognition processes allocated to respective stages A-C. The memory has a plurality of task queue regions (task queues A-C) for temporarily storing the output data of the respective stages. When the output data of the respective stages are not valid for input to the stages that follow, the processor (4) discards the output data without storing in the respective task queue regions.
