Abstract:
The present invention provides an objective optical system which allows sufficient brightness in a near-infrared optical image, high color reproducibility in a white optical image, and little deviation between the position of the near-infrared optical image and the position of the white optical image. This objective optical system has a predetermined lens disposed in the vicinity of a pupil of the objective optical system. The predetermined lens has a first refraction region including an optical axis, and a second refraction region located outside the first refraction region. The refractive power of the second refraction region is larger than the refractive power of the first refraction region. A light flux that arrives at an image surface includes a first light flux and a second light flux, the first light flux is transmitted through the first refraction region, and includes a light flux of white light and/or a light flux of near-infrared light, and the second light flux is transmitted through the second refraction region, and includes only the light flux of near-infrared light.
