Title:
OBSERVATION DEVICE HAVING LASER IRRADIATING FUNCTION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/124999
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A method for killing unnecessary cells, which are observed during a cell culture process, by irradiating laser beams, etc. has a problem that a low optical magnification for image acquisition prevents an observer from observing at a magnification usually employed for observing a target. Provided is an observation device wherein a spectral mirror is positioned between an image formation lens and an imaging element of an optical microscope by which an optical magnification usually employed by a researcher for observing cells can be attained. By using a movable lens and a scanning lens, laser beam focused spot is formed at the position of an image formation face, which is formed by employing the spectral mirror, and then an observation target is irradiated. Due to this configuration, an observer can irradiate laser beams to cells while observing the cells at a magnification usually employed for observing cells.
