Abstract:
[Problem] To observe a predictor of or the occurrence of unstable operation of a turbo machine. [Solution] An observation device 1 having: a detection unit 10 that is arranged in a turbo machine 2 and has one or more sensors 11 and 12 that have high time-responsiveness and are for observing unsteady behavior in the turbo machine 2; a computation unit 20 to which output signals from the one or more sensors 11 and 12 are input moment by moment, and that integrates time-series data for a prescribed period and calculates in real time a parameter for detecting unsteady operation; and a determination unit 30 that compares the parameter for detecting unsteady operation to a prescribed threshold value, and outputs in real time a determination result regarding a predictor of or the occurrence of unsteady operation.
