Abstract:
This obstacle detection system for an agricultural work vehicle comprises: an obstacle estimation unit 52 that estimates an obstacle presence region in a field and outputs obstacle presence region information on the basis of a detection signal from an obstacle sensor 21; a photography unit 22 that outputs a photographed image of the field; an obstacle detection unit 54 that detects an obstacle from an input image and outputs obstacle detection information; and an image pre-processing unit 53 that generates, as the input image for the obstacle detection unit 54, a trimming image obtained by trimming the photographed image on the basis of the obstacle presence region information and photographic field angle information of the photography unit 22, so as to include the obstacle presence region.
