Abstract:
The present invention provides an occlusion catheter and a medical system. The occlusion catheter comprises a multi-cavity tube, a first expandable element, and a second expandable element. The first expandable element and the second expandable element are arranged on the multi-cavity tube and spaced apart from each other at a set distance in the axial direction of the multi-cavity tube. The multi-cavity tube is provided with a liquid passage cavity and a conveying cavity. The liquid passage cavity extends from the proximal end of the multi-cavity tube towards the distal end of the multi-cavity tube and is in communication with an inner cavity of the first expandable element and an inner cavity of the second expandable element. The conveying cavity is arranged to penetrate, in the axial direction of the multi-cavity tube, from the proximal end of the multi-cavity pipe to a position between the first expandable element and the second expandable element. The multi-cavity tube has an opening on the side wall between the first expandable element and the second expandable element. The opening is in communication with the conveying cavity and configured for allowing an instrument in the conveying cavity to penetrate out. In a surgical procedure, the occlusion catheter is used for performing real-time protection, such that thrombus escape in the internal carotid artery can be prevented.
