Abstract:
An occupant imaging device (14) images occupants in a vehicle cabin in which a display device including a display area part is disposed in a forward area of the vehicle between the driver seat and the passenger seat. The occupant imaging device comprises an illumination unit (15) which emits light at the areas around the faces of the occupants sitting in the seats, and an imaging unit (16) which images the areas around the faces of the occupants sitting in the seats. The display device includes an outer frame part (9) on at least the left and right sides of the display area part. The illumination unit and the imaging unit are provided side by side in the vertical direction at a site on the outer frame part of the display device other than the passenger seat side. The imaging unit images the areas around the faces of the occupants, including at least the driver sitting in the driver seat.
