Abstract:
An ocean buoy for complementary power generation and supply using solar, wind, and ocean current energy and a method therefor The ocean buoy comprises an overwater platform (1), an underwater platform (2), a connecting member (3), wind turbines (4), a solar panel (5), and a hydro-generator set (6). The overwater platform (1) and the underwater platform (2) are connected by means of the connecting member (3); the wind turbines (4) and the solar panel (5) are mounted with the overwater platform (1); the hydro-generator set (6) is located within the underwater platform (2), and the underwater platform (2) floats in water to support the overwater platform (1) above the surface of the water; and electric energy generated by means of the wind turbines (4), the solar panel (5), and the hydro-generator set (6) is transferred to a storage battery in a storage battery compartment (232) for storage or directly transferred to various observation devices mounted on the ocean buoy.
