Abstract:

An odor detection device (1) comprises an odor sensor (10), an environment information measurement means (11, 12), an odor information collection means (20), a difference information acquisition means (21), and a correction means (22). The odor sensor (10) detects odor information emitted from an odor generating source (2). The environment information measurement means (11, 12) measures environment information correlated with an amount of vapor contained in an ambient gas. The difference information acquisition means (21) acquires an amount of vapor difference which indicates a difference between environment information around the odor sensor (10) and environment information around the odor generating source (2). The correction means (22) corrects odor information collected by the odor information collection means (20) on the basis of difference information acquired by the difference information acquisition means (21).
