Abstract:
The present application provides an offset detection method and an offset detection device that can be used to detect a position offset when an electrode assembly is wound. The method comprises: an image acquisition step: in the winding process of an electrode assembly, acquiring multiple first images and multiple second images by means of a photographing unit, the first images each comprising a first electrode plate, and the second images each comprising a second electrode plate; an image matching step: matching one first image and one second image, the one first image and the one second image comprising the same or corresponding identification object that is a part periodically formed on each winding layer of the electrode assembly; and an offset determination step: in a group of matched first image and second image, determining, according to the boundary of the first electrode plate in the first image and/or the boundary of the second electrode plate in the second image, whether the electrode assembly is offset. Therefore, the position offset of the first and second electrode plates at the same position of the same winding layer can be determined, so as to more accurately determine the position offset.
