Abstract:
The present application discloses an offshore wind power DC transmission system employing two connected transformers, and a control method therefor. The system comprises a plurality of wind farm booster stations. The wind farm booster stations are divided into groups and connected to AC switch stations, then are connected using two transformers connected in parallel, and are finally connected to a DC system. When any of the connected transformers experiences a failure and stops operating, a surplus power of the other connected transformer is quickly calculated, and is compared with output powers of the wind farm booster stations to determine a disconnected wind farm booster station, thereby controlling offshore wind farms and preventing large-scale disconnections thereof, and accordingly improving the stability and reliability of DC transmission of the offshore wind farms.
