Abstract:
An oil agent for a carbon fiber precursor fiber, which comprises a liquid containing a main agent and liquid fine particles, wherein said liquid fine particles comprise a liquid having a dynamic viscosity at 150&ring C of 15000 cSt or more. The use of the above oil agent allows the suppression of the irregular firing in a step of forming a flame-resistant fiber, which results in providing a high quality and uniform carbon fiber.
