Abstract:
An oil-based ink composition for writing utensils according to the present invention contains an aluminum pigment of the non-leafing type, a solvent, and a resin. The surface of the aluminum pigment is an embossed scale-like aluminum pigment of the non-leafing type that expresses interference fringes. The arithmetic mean roughness Ra of a coating film measured under the condition of a measurement range of 2 mm in conformity with JIS B 0601 is 250 Å or more, the coating film being formed by applying the oil-based ink composition for writing utensils to a polystyrene plate to a thickness of 50 μm and drying.
