The present invention relates to an oil for a cosmetic that contains 70-99 mass% of (A) a C20-30 primary alcohol having a branched chain and 1-30 mass% of (B) a C12-19 primary alcohol having a branched chain; an emulsified cosmetic that contains the oil for a cosmetic, (C) a C3-6 dihydric to hexahydric polyhydric alcohol, and (D) a nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of 10-18 in a predetermined content ratio; and a cosmetic that contains the components (A) and (B) and (F) an inorganic powder having an average particle size of 10 nm to 100 μm in a predetermined content.　The present invention makes it possible to provide an emulsified cosmetic that has an excellent feeling of thickness when applied to the skin under hot, humid conditions and feeling of penetration of the skin under hot, humid conditions, with little unpleasant feeling of adsorption after application, and to provide a cosmetic that suppresses the feelings of dryness and friction caused by containing an inorganic powder and can achieve a feeling of thickness and a feeling of compatibility with the skin when applied to damp skin.
