Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing, by a simple method, an oil and fat composition that is excellent in terms of having a good rich flavor, and a food product that has a good rich flavor as a result of using the oil and fat composition. Provided is an oil and fat composition containing one or more carbohydrates selected from saccharides and sugar alcohols having 12 or fewer carbons, the composition being excellent in terms of having a good rich flavor. A food product having a good rich flavor can be obtained by using the oil and fat composition for cooking with heat.
