Abstract:
An oil-in-water type emulsion composition that contains 48-81 mass% of a liquid oil, 4-20 mass% of decaglycerol monolaurate, 10-30 mass% of a polyhydric alcohol and 4-20 mass% of water and satisfies the following requirements:
(a) [decaglycerol monolaurate content]:[total content of water and polyhydric alcohol]=15:85 to 35:65;
(b) [decaglycerol monolaurate content]:[water content]=30:70 to 65:35; and
(c) [polyhydric alcohol content]:[water content]=45:55 to 75:25.
