Abstract:
Provided is an eco-friendly water-repellent and oil-repellent agent composition with which it is possible to obtain an article, the water-repellency of which has an excellent ability to withstand washing, an excellent ability to prevent the coating solution from passing through the fabric, and an excellent ability to withstand peeling of the moisture-permeable waterproof membrane. The water-repellent and oil-repellent agent composition comprises: a copolymer A having monomer (m1) units, monomer (m2) units and, as necessary, monomer (m3) units; a copolymer B having monomer (m1) units, monomer (m2) units, monomer (m3) units and monomer (m4) units; a copolymer unit C having monomer (m1) units and monomer (m3) units; and a liquid medium. The ratio of copolymer A falls within the range of 20-60% by mass, the ratio of copolymer B falls within the range of 10-50% by mass, and the ratio of copolymer C falls within the range of 25-70% by mass. Monomer (m1) is a monomer having a C1-6 polyfluoroalkyl group. Monomer (m2) is vinylidene chloride or vinylidene fluoride. Monomer (m3) is a (meth)acrylate having a saturated hydrocarbon group having at least 12 carbon atoms. Monomer (m4) is vinyl chloride.
