Abstract:
[Problem] To obtain an oil separation device that can separate oil from an oil-containing substance safely, efficiently, and with an amount of processing sufficient for profit. [Solution] Provided is an oil separation device for an oil-containing substance provided with a processing tank wherein a cylindrical main body having a spraying space wherein superheated steam is sprayed into an oil-containing substance at supersonic speed is disposed such that the direction of the cylindrical axis crosses the vertical direction perpendicularly, and a circular oil-containing substance discharge opening centered about the axial line is provided in the middle of one bottom surface, a superheated steam spray opening being provided with the circumferential direction of a surface inside the cylindrical curve in the cylindrical main body as the direction of spray, and an oil-containing substance supply opening being provided in the bottom part in the vertical direction of the processing tank. The device is constituted such that dividing walls provided with circular hole parts are provided parallel to the circular flat bottom surface of the cylindrical main body on the inner wall of the cylindrical curved surface in the cylindrical main body, and the superheated steam spray opening and a supply opening for supplying the oil-containing substance are provided in each of processing channels divided off by the dividing walls between the pair of bottom flat inner walls of the cylindrical main body.
