Abstract:
The disclosed invention relates to an oil spill recovery vessel comprising: an inlet formed in a structure in which the front and side of the bow are partially open; a protector assembly including a plurality of protector units which, to adjust the opening degree of the inlet, have a "ㄷ" shape and are folded and overlapped on one another and are each rotatable around an axis provided on the side of the inlet; tarpaulin having one end watertightly joined along the lower rim of the inlet and the other end watertightly joined to the front and side of the uppermost protector unit of the protector assembly; an actuator connected to the uppermost protector unit of the protector assembly and driving the uppermost protector unit up and down to cause folding motion of the protector assembly; a control unit controlling driving of the actuator; and an oil/water separator having a tank disposed below a deck while communicating with the inlet, and including a water outlet and an oil outlet which protrude out of the tank.
