Abstract:
In the oil supply device, which is capable of supplying oil with appropriate oil pressure characteristics, an oil pressure control valve is provided with a valve body that closes a return port formed in the valve chamber and is configured so that when the pressure of oil from the discharge port of the hydraulic pump increases and the valve body is operated in opposition to the energizing force of the spring, the oil being returned can be controlled by causing an oil volume-controlling body formed on the valve body to approach the return port. A tapered surface section is formed on the end on the protruding side of the oil volume-controlling body so as to limit the problem of the oil volume-controlling body being significantly displaced by the increase in oil pressure when the engine reaches a high rotation rate.
