Abstract:
Electrode plates (1) and (2) having opposite polarities confront each other at an interval of 5 to 50 mm either along or perpendicular to the direction of feed of oil to be treated within the tank (3) of a granulation accelerator, and a voltage of 5,000 to 20,000 volts is applied between the electrodes (1) and (2). The tank (3) includes an inlet tube (6) for introducing the oil to be treated into the tank at the upper portion of one end face, and a discharge tube (7) for discharging treated oil at the lower portion of the other end face. The tank (3) is disposed at a stage preceding a separator (S), and is connected through the discharge tube (7) to the separator (S).
