Abstract:

The present invention addresses the problem of providing an oily antimicrobial varnish composition which: exhibits excellent plate wear resistance even if printing is carried out using an oily antimicrobial varnish composition containing silver-supporting highly hard zirconium phosphate particles; exhibits good drying properties; and gives a coating film having excellent anti-friction properties and gloss. As a means for solving this problem, the present invention provides an oily antimicrobial varnish composition which contains silver-containing zirconium phosphate particles, a resin, a dryer and a vegetable oil, and which further contains a wax having an average particle diameter of 10.0 µm or less at a quantity of 0.1-15.0 mass% of the overall composition.
