Abstract:
An oldham ring (10) for a scroll compressor (1) comprises: a ring-shaped main body (11) comprising a top surface (14), a bottom surface (15), an inner side surface (16) and an outer side surface (17); and a slide engagement portion disposed on the ring-shaped main body (11), wherein at least one material-removed portion (18) is disposed on the inner side surface (16) and/or the outer side surface (17) of the ring-shaped main body (11). The oldham ring can have a minimized mass while maintaining a sufficient flexural strength, thereby reducing mechanical vibration and noise of the scroll compressor (1).
