Abstract:
An online detection method for a power battery internal short-circuit comprises the following steps: in a charging/discharging process, when a state-of-charge value of a power battery is greater than a preset first threshold, monitoring and storing voltage values of respective cells in the power battery; determining, according to the monitored and stored historical voltage values of the respective cells, whether there is a cell having a voltage value less than a second threshold in a charging process and a voltage value less than a third threshold in a discharging process, and if so, marking said cell as a cell with an internal short-circuit. The detection method can accurately determine occurrence of an internal short-circuit fault in a power battery when a vehicle is driving, thereby protecting the vehicle and ensuring safety of people in the vehicle.
