Abstract:
An online high-temperature pipeline perimeter inspection system and a method. The system comprises: a host computer (6), an ultrasonic module (5), a first ultrasonic transducer (3), a second ultrasonic transducer (4), and a cooling wave guide (2). The host computer (6) is connected to the ultrasonic module (5). An output terminal of the ultrasonic module (5) is connected to the first ultrasonic transducer (3). The second ultrasonic transducer (4) is connected to an input terminal of the ultrasonic module (5). A terminal portion of the cooling wave guide (2) is fixed to a pipeline under test (1). An ultrasonic wave generated by the first ultrasonic transducer (3) propagates through a surface on one side of the cooling wave guide (2), one side of the cooling wave guide (2) that is connected to the pipeline under test (1), a perimeter surface of the pipeline under test (1), another side of the cooling waveguide (2) that is connected to the pipeline under test (1), and a surface of another side of the cooling wave guide (2), and enters the second ultrasonic transducer (4). The host computer (6) calculates a perimeter of the pipeline under test (1) according to a time interval between the ultrasonic module (5) generating a pulse signal and receiving the pulse signal, i.e., a total ultrasonic wave propagation time, in combination with structural dimensions of the cooling wave guide (2) and a propagation time of the ultrasonic wave on the surfaces thereof. The invention achieves fast, real-time, and accurate inspection of a perimeter of a high-temperature pipeline (1).
