Abstract:
An opening and closing device, comprising a pair of rails (17), a lid (13) opening and closing an opening part (12) along the rails, right and left side cables (26) engaged with the lid (13) and routed along the rails (17), and a drive mechanism (36) for drivingly reciprocate the cables, wherein the cables (26) form a closed loop routing around the opening part in a roof of a car, and one cable (26) coming from the drive mechanism (36) is routed to the right side cable (17b), passed to the left side rail (17a), reversed at the end part of the left side rail (17a), and returned to the drive mechanism through the same route.
