Abstract:

An externally wound curled part formed at the opening part of a metal container, wherein at least both inner and outer surfaces of a metal plate forming an area near the opening part are coated with resin film, the curled part formed on the upper side of a tilted surface so as to enclose a cut end part at the upper end thereof by involving the cut end part into the curled part is formed in such a state that is collapsed in the direction of plate thickness so that the lower end part thereof comes into contact with the tilted surface, and metal plates are overlapped with each other in the direction of plate thickness in almost portions other than an area near both the upper and lower ends of the curled part so that the metal plates are generally fitted to each other through the resin film, whereby the rusting and the deterioration of attractiveness of the curled part at the cut end part can be prevented, and the strength of the curled part can be increased to improve the deformation resistance thereof.
