Abstract:
An operating board (100) of an elevator has a touch panel (1) connected to a controller (200) of an elevator, installed in an elevator car or at a landing, and adapted to display one of screens selected by a mode switching button (6). In a normal mode, a normal screen (Figure 3, Figure 4) showing buttons (2) for registering the destination floor and opening/closing the door is displayed. In a switched mode, a character input screen (Figure 1, Figure 5) showing alphabet keys (2) for inputting arbitrary characters. For example, when the operating board is installed in a department store, the department floor of a commodity is registered by inputting the name of the commodity. When the operating board is installed in a hospital, the floor of the room of a patient is registered by inputting the name of the patient. If a text communication function is added, even if the user is a deaf-mute or a speech disabled person, the state of the car can be accurately reported to a landing, a janitor room, or a monitoring center.
