An operation apparatus for a game machine according to one technical aspect of the present invention is coupled to the game machine to operate and provide the game machine with an input command by a user's operation. The operation apparatus comprises: a touch module comprising a first touch panel, for sensing a contact touch, and a second touch panel for sensing a non-contact touch occurring at a predetermined distance or further away; and a housing on which the touch module is mounted, and which comprises a structure attachable to the game machine. A first touch electrode of the first touch panel and a first touch electrode of the second touch panel are formed on the same plane, and a second touch electrode of the first touch panel and a second touch electrode of the second touch panel are formed on different planes from each other.
