Abstract:
Stored in advance in a control unit (170) are a spring correction coefficient (k) for correcting displacement variation based on a difference in operating positions pressed in a design component (110), and sensor sensitivity correction coefficients (kL, kR) for correcting a difference in sensitivities between a plurality of distance sensors (161, 162). During a pressing operation when a vehicle is actually used, the control unit corrects each displacement detected by the plurality of distance sensors in accordance with the spring correction coefficient and the sensor sensitivity correction coefficients, and compares the total value (Sum) of the corrected correction values with a predetermined threshold value so as to determine whether or not there has been a pressing operation.
