Abstract:
Provided are an operation method of a terminal in which a primary cell and a secondary cell are aggregated, and an apparatus using the method. A new state called a dormant state may be defined for a secondary cell. The dormant state is a state corresponding to the middle between an existing activated state and an existing deactivated state, and in the dormant state, a step of monitoring a control channel is not performed but essential measurement is taken. The terminal receives second configuration information applied to a case where the terminal is in a dormant state for a secondary cell, and performs channel state information measuring and reporting on the basis of the second configuration information. The second configuration information is provided independently of first configuration information, which is applied to a case where the terminal is in an activated state for the secondary cell.
