Abstract:
An operation method for an up-down integrated escalator that conserves energy by means of gravity for controlling an escalator in energy conservation by means of gravity. The method comprises a stress sensor (210) for sensing information, a receiver (220) for transmitting information, a determination device (230) for making determination on information, and a server (310) for requesting a drive device to operate according to operation instructions. The method ensures an escalator to operate normally using the least power output within each prescribed time period, thereby solving the problem of the existing escalators not being able to conserve energy by using the weight of people moving downward.
