Abstract:

An operation support device capable of preventing the disturbance of an image due to swinging of a bar-shaped holding means to obtain a satisfactory image. The operation support device comprises a bar-shaped rod unit (12) projecting from a vehicle (11), a camera (13) mounted on the rod unit (12), for imaging the surroundings of the vehicle (11), and a swinging correction image processor (14) that receives an image picked up by the camera (13) and translates the picked-up image from the camera (13) using the swinging of a road surface (a specific-distance surface) (19) as a correction amount XO to output the corrected image.
