Abstract:
An operation time period setting device is applied to a fluid pressure actuator driving system (10) comprising: an actuator body (13) provided with a piston (14); supply/discharge flow paths (17a, 17b); and electrically operated flow rate regulating valves (24a, 24b) for regulating the flow rate of compressed air. A target operation time period in which the piston (14) moves while the drive system (10) is being steadily operated is inputted in the operation time period setting device (31). The actual operation time in which the piston (14) moves is calculated, and the difference between the actual operation time period and the target operation time period previously inputted in the operation time period setting device (31) is calculated. The flow rate regulating valves (24a, 24b) are driven by a drive signal from the operation time period setting device (31) so that the difference between the time periods is reduced, and thus the flow rate of air flowing in the supply/discharge paths (17a, 17b) is regulated.
