Abstract:
An optical anisotropic device which greatly improves visual angle characteristics in any direction and a liquid crystal display in which the optical anisotropic device is provided. The optical anisotropic device comprises an optical anisotropic film (A) which is made of liquid crystal polymer showing an optically positive uniaxial property and in which a nematic hybrid orientation structure of the liquid crystal polymer in a liquid crystal state is fixed and at least one light diffusion layer (B).
