Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an optical deflection device, in which spreading of emitted light is suppressed and the effective aperture of light reception is enlarged, and a range measuring device.
[Solution] An optical deflection device, comprising: a plurality of waveguides that are provided to a semiconductor layer so as to extend parallel to each other in a first direction, and are capable of emitting light to an exterior space of the semiconductor layer and receiving light from the exterior space; and an optical system that is provided on a substrate including the semiconductor layer, and converts light emitted by the plurality of waveguides and deflected in the first direction into light beams substantially parallel to a second direction orthogonal to the first direction.
