Abstract:

Disclosed are an optical device, a display apparatus including same, and a method for extending an optical path. The disclosed optical device comprises: at least one electroactive optical cell capable of adjusting the phase profile of light; and an optical path extender configured such that light passes through the electroactive optical cells a plurality of times in two opposite directions, thus extending the optical path of the light.
