Abstract:
Disclosed are an optical device and an image projection device comprising same. An optical device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a dichroic filter including a first color region and a second color region, wherein the first color region reflects, in a first direction, a portion of light of a plurality of colors from a first light source device and the second region reflects the other portion of the light in the first direction, and the second color region transmits, in the first direction, a portion of light of a plurality of colors from a second light source device and the first color region transmits the other portion of the light in the first direction; a diffusion wheel which transmits, by rotation, light incident from the dichroic filter direction; a diffuser which diffuses light from the diffusion wheel direction; a reflective mirror which reflects, in a second direction, light from the diffuser direction; and a fly-eye lens placed between the diffuser and the reflective mirror. Accordingly, the structure of the optical device can easily be implemented and high-brightness performance is ensured.
