Abstract:
The optical device (10) according to the present invention comprises a protective cover (12) and a drive part (13). The outer surface of the protective cover (12) is provided with a region (20) (second region) that is highly hydrophobic in comparison with another region (30) (first region). The region (20) is separated from the other region (30) by: a boundary line (20b) (first boundary line) that extends towards the outer edge of the protective cover (12) from a starting point (20a) (first starting point) that is away from a centre point (12a) (centre of rotation) of the protective cover (12); and a boundary line (20c) (second boundary line) extending towards the outer edge of the protective cover (12) from the starting point (20a). Said region (20) is on the side that does not contain the centre point (12a). An angle formed by the boundary line (20b) and the boundary line (20c), on the side that does not contain the centre point (12a), is less than or equal to two right angles.
