Abstract:
This optical device comprises: a light deflection device that emits a light beam, which is shaped to extend in a second direction, from a light emission surface parallel to a first direction and the second direction intersecting the first direction toward a direction intersecting the light emission surface, and can change an emission direction of the light beam along the first direction in response to an input control signal; and an optical element that is disposed on a path of the light beam and increases the degree of spread of the light beam in the second direction.
