Abstract:
An optical device of the present invention may be characterized by: a light irradiation unit that irradiates light toward a specific space; a light receiving unit for receiving light and generating electric signals in response to an amount of the received light; and discriminating peaks of the electrical signals, sensing a volume flow rate of dust passing through the specific space through a time difference between the peaks of the electrical signals, and calculating a dust concentration in the specific space by using the volume flow rate.
