Abstract:
The disclosed optical element for EPE comprises: a first beam expander which includes a plurality of first mirrors, and expands the beam width of an incident beam in a first direction and outputs same; a second beam expander which includes a plurality of second mirrors, and expands the beam width of a beam incident from the first beam expander in a second direction different from the first direction and outputs same in a third direction different from the first and second directions; and a waveguide which has a light exit surface where a beam having passed through the first and second beam expanders is output and in which the first and second beam expanders are embedded. Each of the plurality of first mirrors and the plurality of second mirrors may form an angle of 20 degrees or greater with respect to the normal of the light exit surface.
