Abstract:
Provided is a compact optical element that reliably cuts light rays outside a screen. Along an optical axis, in order from the object side or the emission side, a first lens AL1 and a second lens AL2 are provided; a conical surface or non-spherical surface R2 is formed on the image side or the emission-receiving side of the first lens; a conical surface or non-spherical surface R3 is formed on the object side or the emission side of the second lens AL2; the conical surface or non-spherical surface R2 and the conical surface or non-spherical surface R3 face one another via a light-transmitting substance that includes air, a resin, or a liquid; reflection-preventing sections AC are provided on the outer peripheries of the first lens AL1 and the second lens AL2; and a prescribed conditional expression is satisfied.
