Abstract:
An optical fiber amplifier (103) and a light transmission system (100). The optical fiber amplifier (103) comprises a first light amplification module (1), a lead-out module (2), and an injection module (3) located on a first path; the first light amplification module (1) is configured to amplify and output signal light, and transmit first ASE light to the lead-out module (2) by means of the first path, wherein the first ASE light comprises ASE light that is generated during amplification processing and has a transmission direction opposite to the transmission direction of pump light of the first light amplification module (1); the lead-out module (2) is configured to transmit the first ASE light to the injection module (3) by means of a second path between the lead-out module (2) and the injection module (3); and the injection module (3) is configured to output the first ASE light, wherein the first ASE light is used as the auxiliary pump light of the signal light transmitted on the first path. According to the optical fiber amplifier (1), the first ASE light generated in the process of amplifying the signal light is used as the auxiliary pump light of the signal light, so that the pump conversion efficiency is improved.
