Abstract:
An optical fiber connector plug assembly, an optical fiber connector assembly, and a communication device (1000). The optical fiber connector plug assembly comprises a connector main component (100-1) and at least two kits (100-2). A front section (123) of a ferrule (12) in the connector main component (100-1) is completely located outside of a main housing (22). The at least two kits (100-2) may each be detachably connected to the main housing (22) to shield the front section (123) of the ferrule (12). The connector main component (100-1) is selectively connected to one of the at least two kits (100-2) to form an optical fiber connector plug (100). Slots (217, 217') are formed between the kits (100-2) and the front section (123) of the ferrule (12). When the ferrule (12) is inserted into ferrule sleeves (202, 202', 202A) of optical fiber adapters (200, 200-1, 200-2, 200-3, 200-4), open ends of the ferrule sleeves (202, 202', 202A) of the optical fiber adapters (200, 200-1, 200-2, 200-3, 200-4) are located in the slots (217, 217').
