Abstract:
Provided is an optical fiber core wire having both a ZSA property and high-speed curability. An optical fiber core wire (10) comprising a glass optical fiber (13), a primary coating layer (16) which covers the outer periphery of the glass optical fiber (13), and a secondary coating layer (17) which covers the outer periphery of the primary coating layer (16), wherein the primary coating layer (16) has a Young's modulus of 1.2 MPa or less, the secondary coating layer (17) has a Young's modulus of 800 MPa or more, the sulfur content in the surface of the glass optical fiber (13) is 0.2 at.% or more, and sulfur does not exist around the outer periphery of the primary coating layer (16).
