Abstract:
An MT ferrule (170) and an optical fiber connector (10). The MT ferrule (170) comprises a ferrule body, the ferrule body comprising a first front surface (170a) and a first rear surface (170b). The first front surface (170a) and the first rear surface (170b) are located at both ends of a longitudinal direction L of the MT ferrule (170). The length of the first front surface (170a) in a width direction thereof is 4.3 mm to 4.7 mm. At least one group of fiber lead-in units penetrate from the first front surface (170a) of the ferrule body into and through at least a part of the ferrule body, the at least one group of fiber lead-in units comprise a first group of fiber lead-in units. The first group of optical fiber lead-in units contain at least five optical fiber holes (170c). The at least five optical fiber holes (170c) are arranged in the width direction of the first front surface (170a), and two adjacent fiber holes (170c) in the first group of fiber lead-in units have a gap therebetween in the width direction of the first front surface (170a). The MT ferrule (170) increases the number of fibers that can be inserted.
