Abstract:
An optical fiber of a fiber laser device (1) is configured in a manner such that the numerical aperture NA of the core thereof satisfies formula (AA) and the V value, which is the optical fiber waveguide parameter, satisfies formula (BB), when the effective cross-section Aeff of light in the basic mode having a wavelength of 1,070nm which propagates through the core is at least 500μm2, the radius of the core is a(m) and the radius of the cladding is b(m).
